This is a solar Trickle charger for automobiles. Just plug it into your cars cigarette lighter and it is installed. It has a built in LED indicator light to let you know that it is charging. This panel puts out about 1 watt of power wich will keep your battery maintained while your car is parked for extended periods. This is not enough power to recharge a drained battery in a usefull amount of time. It is designed for care free operation. It has a blocking diode built in to prevent revers flow of power at night. This prevents the solar panel from draining the battery when there is no sunlight.
